One thousand bricks ago

What would archeologists find while digging near the Regent’s canal in 1000 years? Plastics, clays, ceramics, concretes and charcoal mixed with iron pieces… This diptych is creating an “East London Dust” made from bricks, limestone powders, embedded with charcoal and plastic bags. This painting aims to function as both prophecy and memorial resonating with my personal life in Hackney a few years back.
